The INCLINED BELT OIL SKIMMER is mainly composed of the hydraulic power station, skimming head (the main unit), the hydraulic oil hose, oil pipeline and other parts. It is not only suitable for harbors, wharfs, gulf, rivers, lakes and other semi-enclosed waters, but also for open seas, offshore and other open waters.
The main unit of the skimmer pushes the oil spills on the water surface down into the water through the loop-shaped tape which declines downward and then the oil rises up and floats in the oil collecting channel so that the oil spills are gathered and pumed away. One end of the belt is above the water surface while another is below the surface in the oil collecting channel. It is driven by the hydraulic motor and hence pressed the oil spills down to the bottom of the channel. The oil will rise up again and float in the oil collecting channel due to its specific gravity less than that of water.
The power station is driven by diesel engine or motor to drive hydraulic oil pump and oil delivery pump. The main unit is composed of inclined belt roller group, oil gathering tank, frame body, floating body, hydraulic oil pipe and oil pump. The main engine is set on the water surface, and the power station is set on the ship or on the shore.
Oil spills can be recovered to a high purity, up to 99%.
The floating oil spills with various viscosities can be recovered.
It is easy to operate. Only a few operators are required. It can meet the requirements for rapid response to an emergency.

It can operate in conjunction with the containment boom for oil sweeping at a forward speed up to 4Kn.

In addition to the features of an inclined belt skimmer, the multi-function skimmer has the function of recovering floating wastes and spilled oil sludges.
