Qingdao Huahai Environmental Protection Industry Co., Ltd. is a drafting unit for the industry standards Impregnated Canvas for Rubber Dams and Rubber Dam Bags. The process design, manufacturing, inspection, transportation, installation and commissioning of Huahai rubber dams are all strictly implemented in accordance with the water conservancy industry standards Technical Specifications for Rubber Dams (SL227-98) and Rubber Dam Bags.

After long-term research, testing and verification, Huahai has adopted a new technology—specifically the stepped lap molding method—which is particularly suitable for the production of extra-thick and extra-high rubber dams. This method has achieved a qualitative leap in both the internal and external quality of dam joints: it delivers high bonding strength, a smooth surface finish, an aesthetic appearance when the dam bag is inflated, easy and convenient installation, and excellent water-stopping performance. Huahai’s stepped lap molding technology and raw lap joint technology for rubber dams have obtained national invention patents.

② Process Improvement and Product Production of Air-shield Dam Products

The airbag of Huahai’s air-shield dam adopts the integrated one-time molding lamination and integrated one-time vulcanization process. This technology enables the airbag wall to form a seamless composite structure with excellent air tightness and balanced strength in all directions, which greatly enhances the elasticity of the airbag, improves its burst resistance and impact fatigue resistance, and extends its service life.

After long-term research, testing and verification, Huahai has developed a new technology, and its invention—the anti-tearing rubber airbag for air-shield dams—has obtained a national utility model patent.
